*Gratitude Sunday*
Joining Wooly Moss Roots for Gratitude Sunday. Sunday's heartfelt tradition. A time to slowdown, to reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitudes.
~ Still somewhat cool morning. Being able to sit outside in the mornings, sipping iced coffee while the wee girlie plays in her sandbox has been such a blessing.
~ The hens starting to lay eggs! such cute little eggs.
~ Evening at the public pool. Love swimming and playing with the kids in the nice coolish water.
~ The A/C! LOVE IT!
~ Time up north camping with the family.
~ Our homeschool group
~ Freezer jam and gluten free biscuits

In the Garden
The garden is doing lovely, getting lots and lots of squash. So much that we are giving it away! Mint has gone crazy, which is so nice, and some how even though things are heating up the basil is holding its own. And the chickens! a few have started laying, so we are getting wee little eggs! Happy Dance!

knits and reads
My oh my, this pair of socks is never ending! I am still on sock one! how will I ever make it through sock two?? It isn't the pattern, it is me! I am just not "feeling it". Maybe I need to set this project aside AGAIN and try getting bit by the knitting bug while making something else?
I am reading (again) "Buddhism for Mothers". Such a gentle, wonderful, reminder book. Glad I pick it up again.

Food crafting
All sorts of berries have been on sale lately, so the kids and I picked some up and made triple berry freezer jam. Yum yum! tastes oh so good on gluten free biscuits!
