Rowan's actual birthday was a bit of a disappointment for him. He was really hoping for balloons, a cake with his name on it, and a big banner that said "HAPPY BIRTHDAY". We totally dropped the ball. But seeing as we do second chances in this house, we were able to redeem ourselves and give him a fun old time on Sunday. We did it up good with cake, balloons, a banner and lots of great gifts from family. He was very satisfied.
