Ghosts

The childen have decided that the house we live has to be haunted. After reading books on ghosts and looking at pictures of ghosts they decided that they would go on a ghost search and try and get photographic proof that we do indeed live in a ghost infested house... these are the photos, you decide.

A couple trips to the beach

Since Audrey was at a writers workshop all week with "The Portland Hive" project, we had to travel to Portland every day. A couple times we decided to head back to Portland a little early and swing by Kettle Cove for a few hours before we had to pick her up. Once it was just the boys and mama, and once we all went with daddy too. I actually put on my swimsuit and played in the ocean! It was lovely, and really not too cold, just sort of a relaxing coolness. The boys went looking for crabs both days, and on the first day they actually found three hermit crabs.

This last week, Logan was at MAMM rock and roll band camp. Friday was the big day, the day we family and friends, got to see what they did over the last 20+ hours. What sort of music did they put together. Can you actually get 5-6 complete strangers together and can they actually write a couple good songs, learn to play then then get on stage and actually do it all live? Well yes they can! It was amazing. Those kids, ranging in age from 11 to 14, could really rock! The lyrics were good and they really pulled it together really well. Logan showed no fear, was up there as cool as can be, jammed good and just had a great time. I am so proud of him.
