Audrey was inducted into the NSAA chapter of the NHS this evening. I am really so inspired by her drive and willingness to take on so much at such a young age, when she really doesn't have to. This whole high school business is all her. After years of homeschooling she chose to start going to high school, and she has busted butt the whole way through.
It has been an interesting experience for me, as a homeschooling mama, to have a child who so loves the whole school environment. I have to really bite my tongue alot of the time, but you know, it is worth it. This is what she wants and well that is what doing the whole child led learning is all about, letting them take the lead.
