Yarn Along

Joining Ginny from Small Things for the weekly Wednesday Yarn Along!

doll sweaters completed

my shalom all done
pebble vest for my nephew
Knitting has been a bit slow. I finished up my Shalom sweater and I love it. I think maybe it is a bit small, but it still looks great. So happy with it. I thought I might run a bit low on yarn so I ordered another skein but I ended up not needing it, so I have been toying with making a little Shalom for Fiona. I also knitted up three little doll sweaters for Cae, Rowan and Fiona's "Little Friend dolls".  Now the dollies are all warm and snug. And last but not least I started another Pebble Vest for my nephew. My sister in law said she loved the last one, but wee baby Zach has out grown it and she wanted another one. LOVE! I tell you when someone asks for a knitted goodness for a wee babe, I am all over it. I think I might have enough yarn to make a pair of wee baby socks as well (a first) I hope to have it all finished by next weekend so I can give it to him then, before he out grows it again.
I have not been reading much of anything, which isn't good. I need to find a good book to get in to again.

Everything looks great. I especially like the doll sweaters. There must be something in the air because so many people I know are just "zooming" through knitting projects! Happy Knitting!

Whe someone ask for a knit it is the best feeling isn't it?
Love seeing all the dollies in their sweaters, they are too cute.
I think a shalom for Fiona to match yours is a wonderful idea and I bet she would love it too.

Thanks for commenting on my blog! Yours is awesome- I will have to look around a bit. I am SO jealous of that Shalom. I like the color purple so much I named my daugher Violet...so I think one of those might have to go on the needles soon. And the dolly sweaters. Oh...so much goodness!

The doll sweaters are just too cute. I'd make one for "baby", but the current state of baby's dress is naked. Someone just doesn't want her to wear clothes.

This is my first time to your blog and I like you already. Your knitting is oh so beautiful and I do agree that nothing warms the heart like knitting beautiful things for wee babes.

Lovely shalom!
Requested knits are so special. I'm working on some myself now. With hopes to squeeze another pebble vest in there for a friend's babe. :)

Love the doll sweaters... too cute! The Shalom came out very nicely. I have that queued to do someday, probably not until next Fall. You do some very nice knitting!
