* Gratitude Sunday *

Joining Taryn from Wooly Moss Roots for a weekly Sunday ritual. A heart felt tradition. A time to slow down, reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitudes.
I am also joining Marcy from A Simple Life in a Season of Mindfulness. A time to dig down deep with in myself and rediscover me.

~ I am so grateful  to have had two dates this week with my husband. Time for just the two of us is very rare and to get two dates in as many days was just a very amazing blessing
~ ok, so maybe it is a wee bit shallow, but I have lost a lot of weight over the last few months and it just feels so wonderful to buy clothing that not only fits well, but makes me feel wonderful
~ as always my dear, wonderful mama friends who inspire me, who leave me in awe, and who teach me every day how to be the very best I can be
~ pay day. Money was so tight this last week that just seeing the bank balance and knowing I could go grocery shopping, do a wee bit of holiday shopping and help out a friend... well that is worth about a million blessings
~ my daughter's best friend Derek,who helps us out so much and has become a member of this family
~ sheep. I am ever so grateful for their wooly goodness
~ thrift shops... oh how I love them, allowing me to dress my family well on a modest budget
~ writer who describe the world with beautiful words
~ my lovely, beautiful, amazing husband. My soulmate, my best friend, my rock

Thrift stores are the best. We also were lucky this week and were are to splurge on a few "extras" for the kids because of ours. Quality, excellent condition, stuffed animals for next to nothing.

And time alone with your husband is so important! (I wish we could get a bit more of that ourselves.)

Something I'm grateful for that involves your family...

I'm grateful that Hunter and Logan have kept in touch and are still such wonderful friends. I often smile when I hear this side of their conversations. So goofy, funny, and comfortable.

It's nice to hear that you had two dates this week with your husband, marriage is so important and needs to be nurtured at every opportunity.
My favorite on your list this week is the sheep! I love them so too. I can't believe that I have only been knitting for 2 1/2 years, I feel like I have always had a relationship with wool.
You are Not shallow about being happy with your weight loss, anything that makes you feel good about yourself is wonderful. And I owe you a huge thank you for getting me moving with Whole30, it's changed my life!
