knits

Finished the sweater, almost... just needs to be blocked and buttoned. LOVE IT! Lulu will be so sweet and cozy in it this coming fall.
Found the perfect pattern for the socks, so excited to get on these things.
I've been reading (I KNOW! shocking) to the kids, a book written by a man in our neighborhood, Story Girl. We are all loving it, it is such a great concept. Can't wait to read it every evening before bed.

I love the colour of yarn you chose for the socks. Won't that be lovely? You confused me for a second there with the name of the book written by the man in your neighbourhood. I had to go look on my bookshelf for the book by L.M Montgomery, but that one is THE story girl. hahaha

I started knitting that pattern a couple of times and really liked it. My yarn choice - not so much. I really should try it again. Your sweater came out adorable!

What a brilliant pattern. I've got some self striping yarn to knit up and I'm a bit bored with vanilla socks right now so thank you for linking it :)
