Yarn Along

reading and knitting
I am still working on the baby sweater vest, it is coming along great, I am about 3/4 done with it. I am really wondering what to do about the buttons. I have a few really cute ones, but I am not sure if they will go with the color of the yarn.
As ofr reading it is mostly magazines and "The Low Carbon Diet" which has great information on how to decrease your carbon footprint by 5000lbs in 30 days. I would love to do this with others, it is set up to do that, so you have a sort of community involvement sort of thing. Pretty cool.

If you want to be inspired on what to knit and what to read check out Ginny's blog or the weekly Yarn Along!

I think you should go button shopping :) Love that little vest! Knitting and taproot--what a wonderful way to start off a Wednesday--happy knitting!

I am thinking buttons also. I am thinking I need to first finish my project. Love all your reading. Perhaps when we return I can look through the carbon book with you.

that would be great. :)
i have a set of those sweet little birdie buttons amanda soule used last year, but i am feeling they might be a wee bit "girlie" since the ones i have left are pink and purple. my SIL finds out what she is having in the next week or two, so if the little bean is a girl i will just use those, BUT if it is a boy i might need to go button looking. LOL although i still have some hedgehog buttons, so those might work.

I love the colorway of the yarn you are using! It reminds me of being at a lake :) Good luck with your button search, I always have the hardest teim finding buttons.

I love the color of your yarn! Button shopping can be difficult just because there are too many choices.
