This week we actually were a bit more artistic then usual. Inspired by another Saturday's Artist post I figured out how to cut out 5 pointed stars with one snip and Cae, Rowan and I colored a bunch of them. I did some knitting and am currently working on this cool hat for Rowan. Then on Friday I loaded up the kids and we went to the Phoenix Art museum. Such an amazing place. They have this fantastic Frank Lloyd Wright exhibit going on, which was full of his blueprints and scale models of some of his work. They also have this wonderful "children's" area where kids can actually do some art. The boys drew a bit and the worked with the magnet walls and created some interesting designs, even Fiona was able to get into it.
I have to say out of all the stuff we do homeschool wise, I would have to admit that art is always sort of not on my radar. Going over to Ordinary Life Magic and seeing all the things she and her children do is very inspiring and I think art will not be something pushed to the back so much any more.
If you are inspired to share your art head on over to Ordinary Life Magic and leave a linky!

The cupcakes look delicious! The Art museum looks like a lot of fun, it would probably keep up busy for hours. Thank you for sharing.

Ah, a lovely compliment in there for us! Thank you for that. :)

I love your photos! I thought I had commented earlier this week, but I guess not! Love those "study" photos. And babies checking out new things? Always good!

Creativity is very important to me--keeps the imagination alive and active, and keeps the Living interesting and excited, too. :)
All important things to me!
