Yarn Along

I am making great progress on the sweater, I am super excited about it. I have had to learn two new stitches... doing a cable cast on and knitting front and back. It has been really fun. At the moment I am having to tink the second sleave as I got a bit carried away and wasn't paying attention to how long I was making it, it was suppose to be 8 inches and it was 9 1/2 inches. LOL, oh well.
I am thinking about making Fiona a hat to go with it, I was toying with this one, I have knit it before and it is easy and fun.
I haven't been reading much of anything, when I am not knitting I am purging the house of things and stuffs. It feels so good, almost as good as the knitting!

Joining Ginny from Small Things for the weekly Yarn Along. :)

I love your sweater! And what a wonderful thing to get carried away and knit an extra 1.5 inches!
That's great :)

It looks so nice and snugly!! I love projects that force you to learn new stitches and techniques...it's so rewarding when you finally get it all together!!

Is this your first sweater? Great job!! I made my first sweater last winter and have made 3 more since! They are addicting!
I love when projects make you learn new things. I need to learn how to do cables, so I need to add a project with that to my list.
